Why should air compressors be equipped with gas storage tanks?

(2) Stable standard air pressure: If there is no gas storage tank, the unbalanced requirements of the terminal equipment will cause the air compressor to often add and unload to meet the continuously changing natural gas requirements. The air compressor is affected by temperature, working voltage, pipeline and other factors, and the standard air pressure is not always stable during operation, especially reciprocating piston compressors, which usually cause significant standard air pressure fluctuations under some working conditions. The water vapor contained in the air is sucked into the air compressor along with other air to shrink, if not removed, the water vapor will be solidified into liquid water in the pipeline leading to the gas end and the special tools of the machine equipment, which will cause great inconvenience to the production system. Therefore, the compressed air discharged from the air compressor must be cooled and dried before application. As a storage device, when the air stays in the tank or passes slowly through, it will naturally cool and precipitate condensate with the change of time. The liquid condensate that is precipitated will gather at the bottom of the tank and discharge the mixed substances such as oil stains and particulate matter residue formed by the solidification of oil vapor.
